Penny is super into baby dolls lately. I thought it would be fun to make her some cute little cloth diapers for her babies. I used this sweet and easy tutorial from Skip to My Lou. I used felt for the lining of both. The birdcage fabric is flannel and the pink one is quilting cotton (which you may recognize from this project). Penny needs a little help to get everything on and fastened the right way, but she has fun with it and loves to say "I change your diaper!" I am thinking her love of babies may prove to be a very good thing for us in the coming months...
Oh, these also make great gifts and can totally totally be made in "boy patterns" too. Please don't tell me boys don't play with dolls or change diapers because baby dolls need daddies too. And boys definitely change diapers in our house.
