Month in Review: July & August 2012

So I'm a little behind on my month-in-review posts. I realized about a week into August that I hadn't done a July one and just decided to wait and combine them. Here's what's been happening around here in case you missed any posts this summer.

The hottest topic as been little Bugabug with belly shots and periodic updates for week 13, week 15, week 17, week 19, also my home gender tests, and there are still a few days left to vote in my poll (top right on my sidebar) before I reveal Bugabug's gender. What do you think?

I did a little sewing this summer: an upcycled dress for Penny, a skirt for charity, an upcycled quilt for a friend's little boy, and a yoga mat bag for moi.

I shared a couple experiments from my kitchen: beef heart and blueberry crisp. I talked about food, Penny, our 4th of July, documentaries I love, and my fantastically awesome Vitamix.

I also celebrated World Breastfeeding Week 2012, reflected on fertility differences between now and two years ago, wrote from the Speech & Language corner about sippy cups, and of course shared my family room renovation just in time to find out we'd be moving to Chicago.

What a summer! Hope yours was fun and exciting too. I am actually feeling kind of ready for fall, which I can't usually say. What about you?
